TECO® ELISA
Intact Proinsulin is a Key Biomarker for ß-Cell Dysfunction in Diabetes mellitus
Intact Proinsulin is a Key Biomarker for ß-Cell Dysfunction in Diabetes mellitus – Clinical and Laboratory Aspects. Lection from Prof. Andreas Pfützner, MD, PhD, Managing Director Pfützner Science & Health Institute, Professor of Internal Medicine and Laboratory Medicine, DTMD University, Wiltz, Luxembourg.
TECO® Human Intact Proinsulin ELISA
TE1012 / TE1011
- Range: lowest standard: 1.5-3.5 pmol/L
Range: highest standard: 110-130 pmol/L - Incubation time: 140 min
- Certification: CE-IVD / RUO
The TECO® Human Intact Proinsulin ELISA is used for the quantitative determination of Intact Proinsulin in human plasma and serum. The Intact Proinsulin standard is calibrated against the international standard for Intact Proinsulin (WHO 09/296)
- Shipment / Conservation: 2-8°C
- Features: Quantitative
- Packaging: 96 tests
- Reader: Microtitre plate reader 450 nm and 405 nm
- Sample volume: 50 µL
Human plasma and serum.
Plasma
The sample collection can take place in HbA1C–tubes. These samples are stable at room temperature and should be centrifuged within 48 hours. Plasma should be used in the assay or can be stored in aliquots, stable > 2 years at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Serum
Centrifuge whole blood within 4 hours. Proteases degrade intact proinsulin in serum, do not store longer than 1 day at 2–8 °C. Serum should be used in the assay or can be stored in aliquots at -20 °C.
TECO® Sclerostin HS ELISA
TE1023-HS
- Range: 0.025 ng/mL to 4 ng/mL
- Incubation time: 4h
- Certification: RUO
The Human Sclerostin High Sensitivity (HS) Enzyme Immunoassay is a 96-well, direct-capture immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of Sclerostin in human serum, plasma and cell culture (osteocytes and chondrocytes).
- Shipment / Conservation: 2-8°C
- Features: Quantitative
- Packaging: 96 tests
- Reader: Microtitre plate reader 450 nm
- Sample volume: 25 µL
Human serum, plasma and cell culture (osteocytes and chondrocytes)
For serum specimens, allow the blood to clot, and separate the serum by centrifugation. Both Heparin and EDTA plasma can be used. Samples can be stored for 3 days at room temperature, 5 days at 2-8 °C, at ≤ -20 °C for 24 months and at ≤ -80 °C for > 24 months. Up to three thaw cycles may be performed without affecting the samples.
TECO® Human Adiponectin ELISA
TE1013
- Range: 2.0 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL
- Incubation time: 2 h 15 min
- Certification: CE-IVD
The TECO® Human Adiponectin ELISA kit is a sensitive “two-site” sandwich enzyme linked immunosorbent in-vitro assay for the quantitative determination of Adiponectin in human plasma and serum.
- Shipment / Conservation: 2-8°C
- Features: Quantitative
- Packaging: 96 tests
- Reader: Microtitre plate reader 450 nm
- Sample volume: 100 µL
Human plasma, serum, breast milk, urine, CSF, and cell culture
For serum or plasma samples, and if no extreme values are expected a dilution of 1:200 to 1:1600 with Dilution Buffer should be suitable. Sample stability after dilution of the sample: maximum 1 hour at 20-25°C.
TECO® Human Leptin ELISA
TE1015
- Range: 10 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL
- Incubation time: 1 h 45 min
- Certification: CE-IVD
The TECO® Human Leptin kit is a sensitive ”two-site” sandwich enzyme linked immunosorbent in-vitro assay for the quantitative determination of leptin in human plasma and serum.
- Shipment / Conservation: 2-8°C
- Features: Quantitative
- Packaging: 96 tests
- Reader: Microtitre plate reader 450 nm
- Sample volume: 20 µL
Human serum, plasma and cell culture (osteocytes and chondrocytes)
Samples from individuals with a BMI >30 will have Leptin levels over 100 ng/ml: the sample should then be diluted in the Dilution Buffer, e.g. 1:2. Stability of samples: maximum 2 days at room temperature, maximum 2 years at -20 °C, maximum 5 freeze/thaw cycles.
