High-sensitivity donor-recipient chimerism monitoring can aid in the diagnosis of leukemia relapse and facilitate timely clinical intervention. Our KMRtype kits can be used to determine presence or absence of genetic markers for chimerism monitoring. By using the qPCR technique, a sensitivity of as low as 0.05% can be reached (20 to 100 fold more sensitive compared to current conventional method using STRs). After genotyping with KMRtype, the KMRtrack kit can be used for monitoring. Both KMRtype and KMRtrack kits are available as RUO and CE-marked IVD.

Monitoring kit to track chimeric status in time
Available as RUO & CE-IVD

When relapse is detected after HLA-mismatched hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), it is important to understand whether or not it is characterized by “HLA loss”, i.e. genomic loss of the mismatched HLA, as this has important implications for the appropriate treatment options. The HLA-KMR kit contains 10 markers to detect HLA loss relapse. The 10 genomic markers are all located within HLA genes and integrated in the KMRtype/KMRtrack and KMRengine workflow. Available as RUO.

HLA loss detection assays
Available as RUO

KMRassay qPCR Buffer & Enzyme contains the necessary buffer and enzyme for the performance of KMRtype and KMRtrack. Available as RUO and CE-marked IVD.

qPCR Buffer & Enzyme

KMRassay Reference Assay 901 contains the necessary genetic reference for the performance of KMRtype and KMRtrack. This assay targets a housekeeping gene outside the HLA region and has been designed to give a positive result for all human DNA. Available as RUO and CE-marked IVD.
