This month, we had the honor of celebrating the 25 anniversary of TECOmedical AG and the farewell of Marieluise Wippermann, the founder of TECOmedical Group retiring 1 Quarter of 2026.

With more than 40 years of experience in medical laboratory diagnostics, Marieluise’s career journey is truly inspiring. From her early days as a Biochemistry Engineer in Zurich and Hamburg, to international leadership roles at Quest Diagnostics (USA), Chromogenix (Sweden), and Instrumentation Laboratories (Germany, part of CH-Werfen Group, Spain), she has always combined expertise with vision.

In 2000, Marieluise founded the TECOmedical Group (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Benelux) and, over the next 25 years, established it as a leading provider of in vitro test systems in human medical diagnostics. In 2020, the Group proudly joined Eurobio Scientific Group following its acquisition.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Marieluise for her strong professionalism, expertise, and tireless dedication to improving patients’ quality of life. Her legacy will continue to inspire us for many years to come.
