Chimerism monitoring by NGS is the latest development in post-transplantation surveillance and replaces the less sensitive conventional STR (short tandem repeat) method because of its higher sensitivity (2-10 times more sensitive). GenDx is offering a solution for Chimerism monitoring by NGS, NGStrack® (assay) & TRKengine® (software). NGStrack results can be visualized with TRKengine, our in-house developed software, based on the best features of our renowned NGSengine® and KMRengine® software packages that have been perfected for over a decade. NGStrack and TRKengine are available as RUO.

High-sensitivity donor-recipient chimerism monitoring can aid in the diagnosis of leukemia relapse and facilitate timely clinical intervention. Our KMRtype kits can be used to determine presence or absence of genetic markers for chimerism monitoring. By using the qPCR technique, a sensitivity of as low as 0.05% can be reached (20 to 100 fold more sensitive compared to current conventional method using STRs). After genotyping with KMRtype, the KMRtrack kit can be used for monitoring. Both KMRtype and KMRtrack kits are available as RUO and CE-marked IVD.
